I am a managing broker for a new and rapidly growing Keller Williams office. I have been in the real estate industry for three years. Despite my relative lack of years of experience, I lead agents who have been in this industry and on this earth for much longer than I have. This is a testament to my work ethic and my commitment to educating myself in order to raise the bar in real estate. I have a drive to make a positive difference in this industry and have demonstrated that I have the ability to accomplish a great deal in a short amount of time.

Kelly Henderson
Growing up, my family and I were homeless for a number of years, and the American dream of home ownership seemed like a foreign concept. In real estate school, I quickly realized that the dream wasn’t as distant as I thought. Less than a year later, my mother purchased her first home, at age 52. Within weeks, I too, purchased my first home with my husband. To this day, my mom credits me with her home ownership, and it always brings tears to my eyes. Having the opportunity to make that dream a reality for myself and others is exactly why I got my license.

Saliq Khawar
I specialize in working with groups that purchase and redevelop distressed houses. My specialty comes from my own personal experiences, which drives my passion to help underserved communities. I grew up in Pakistan, where it is often difficult, if not impossible, for an average person to purchase a home in his or her lifetime. Where I come from, your path in life is limited by who your father is and what your religious and political affiliations are. Here, you can truly be whomever you choose to be if you are willing to put in the work.

Sarah Pomerleau
Most agents work on generating client leads, and, of course, I am a part of that too. However, my role is to constantly generate leads for talent. I monitor my pipeline, or what I call my “bench,” daily. I have a spreadsheet that keeps me organized and helps me track my sources, such as career fairs, Indeed, Allied Resources, Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn, and cold calling. My role on the team is a niche in itself. Finding and hiring great people energizes me every day, and that, in turn, keeps me dialed into always being on the hunt. Maybe my role should be called “holding the line.” I think that phrase describes my deep conviction to hire only the very best candidate that I can find.
